Another hot and sunny day in Assisi. We escaped the sun by touring the Roman Forum (underground, below the Piazza del Comune), and Meghan expanded our skills by taking us to a cooking class. We started with a wine, cheese, and meat tasting; made fettuccine, pork sausage and cheese ravioli and tortellini; and finished by eating our ravioli with tomato, onion, and garlic sauce topped by parmigiano reggiano. Eleanora was an excellent teacher. Ken's pasta was the most tender. We finished off with a dessert similar to tiramisu with chocolate, cake, and cream.
