The predicted rain did not make an appearance, so Ken took advantage of the beautiful weather and went for a ride around the lake and up into the foothills on the other side.
I drove up to Anoka in the morning for a meeting with my sister, my brother, and a director at the funeral home to finalize arrangements for our mother. We will have a memorial service in May 2023, when, we hope, those who want to attend will be able to. After Lynette, Ross, and I cleared out Mom's storage closet at the Walker, we had our own small memorial service on Lynette's patio, with wine, cheese, crackers, sausage, olives, and memories. Then Ross flew home to Montana and I drove back to Northfield.
