Ken bought special bread from the bakery and explored the Roman ruins in Aix.
I made it to Minnesota with no problems, despite all the airport and flight delays in the news. My sister picked me up at the airport and drove me back to her house in Anoka. After I had a shower, Lynette and Ross caught me up on their progress with cleaning out Mom's apartment and contacting friends and relatives. Ross drove us to Joshua's house for a barbecue with his family, Lynette's son Travis, and Meghan's dad, Bruce. It was good to be with everyone who could be there. Travis offered to drive me home to Northfield, which was very kind. I rarely get alone time with my nephew, and always enjoy it when I do.

After dinner with Joshua and family, I got to see Josh's project sailboat. He and his mom are restoring this boat, and they hope to get it in the water before the snow flies. |
