Spili to Plakias Bike Route
Our first rainy, chilly day--and we are at the beach! Plakia is a popular, busy beach town in the summer, with diving, snorkeling, beach-hopping, hiking, and other excursions running in all directions along the coast. We are here just ahead of the season. Proprietors are opening up and cleaning up the hotels and restaurants, getting ready for the crowds. Lots of older couples and young families are wandering the beach and enjoying the quiet time.

Day 2 in Plakias
Biked to Souda Beach and back, explored the town of Plakia by bike and foot
7 miles, 590 feet of climb
Another cool, rainy day--but we were not the only ones determined to enjoy the beach at least a little!
